The small print
Booking terms and refunds.
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ring us and we will explain it rather than point at a clause.
1. What you are booking
A place for a named child on a named day at a named venue. The day runs 9.30am to 3.30pm and is for children in Year 1 to Year 6. Each venue has 32 places and they are allocated in the order they are reserved.
2. Reserving and paying
Reserving a place costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We will email you to confirm the place and take payment. Your place is not secure until it is paid for.
If you do not pay within 7 days of us sending the payment link, or by the booking deadline if that comes first, we may offer the place to somebody else. We will always chase you before we do that.
3. Refunds
The short version: tell us early and you get your money back.
- More than 7 days before the day: a full refund, no questions, no reason needed.
- Within 7 days of the day: we refund half. By that point the coaches are booked and the place is unlikely to be filled.
- Your child is ill on the day: ring us. We cannot promise a refund, but we would rather hear from you than not, and we will do what we can.
- If we cancel for any reason: you get every penny back, always.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 working days.
4. If we have to cancel
We may cancel a day if too few children book to run it properly, if the venue becomes unavailable, or for something genuinely outside our control such as severe weather or a public health direction. You get a full refund in every one of those cases. We will tell you as soon as we know, and we will try to offer you the other venue first.
5. Telling us about your child
When we confirm the place we ask about allergies, medical conditions and medication, SEN and additional needs, your emergency contact, and the password for collection.
Please tell us everything, and please keep it up to date. We can only keep a child safe on the information we hold. If something changes between booking and the day, email us. Nothing is too small.
If a child arrives with a need we have not been told about and we cannot safely support them on the day, we will ring you.
6. Dropping off and collecting
Doors open at 9.20am. Collection is at 3.30pm.
Nobody collects your child without the password you chose when you booked. If somebody else is collecting, tell them the password and tell us the name. If we are not satisfied, we will not release the child, and we will ring you. We would rather have an awkward two minutes than the alternative.
If you are running late, ring us. Persistent late collection may mean we cannot offer a place another time.
7. Behaviour
We want every child to have a good day, which occasionally means managing one who is stopping others having one. We will always try to sort it on the day and talk to you at collection. In the rare case a child's behaviour makes the day unsafe for others, we may ask you to collect them early. We would not refund that, and we would talk to you about how to make a future day work.
8. Photographs
We take photographs for our own records and sometimes to show what the day was like. You can say no when you book, or any time afterwards, and that is the end of it. We never name a child, and we never publish a photograph of a child whose parent has not agreed.
9. Childcare funding
These days cannot be paid for using Tax-Free Childcare or childcare vouchers. We are not currently Ofsted registered. We would rather tell you here than have you find out at the checkout.
10. Changes to the day
The activities we have described are what we intend to run. Weather, the venue and the group in front of us sometimes mean we swap something. The day, the times and the price will not change.
11. If something goes wrong
Tell us. Email [email protected] or ring us and ask for Andy or Ant. We will answer within 5 working days and we will tell you honestly what happened.
