For school partnerships

Somebody has to run it. It may as well be somebody good at it.

We run whole competition programmes end to end. The calendar, the coaches, the kit, the officials, the results and the evidence.

A partnership of twenty five schools should not depend on one subject leader with a spreadsheet and good intentions. We take the whole thing off their desk and give them back something better than they had.

What a season looks like

Eleven competition days and two full leagues.

11Competition days
26Football rounds
7Rugby rounds plus playoffs
25Schools

Across the year, from the Reception festival through to the football finals:

  • New Age curling
  • Quick Sticks hockey
  • Fencing
  • Basketball
  • Dodgeball
  • Highland Games
  • Reception sports festival
  • High 5 netball
  • Rounders
  • Dynamos cricket
  • Football festival

What the partnership gets

It runs itself, and it leaves a record.

Schools enter themselves

Their own secure login. They enter a team, the fixture list updates, and every school sees the same table at the same moment. No ringing round.

Live tables and results

Results go in on the day. Tables, points difference and playoff places work themselves out. A written record of every fixture across the year.

Qualified coaches and officials

At every competition, all enhanced DBS checked, with the equipment and the set-up.

Rules and session plans, free

Twelve rule sets and ninety six session plans, four for Key Stage 1 and four for Key Stage 2 for every competition. Printable, and yours.

The bit heads care about

Who actually took part.

Every entry records how many children came, how many girls, how many boys, how many with SEND and how many on pupil premium or free school meals.

That turns a fixture list into evidence. It shows a partnership which children are getting the chance to compete and which are being missed, year on year, and it is ready when somebody asks a school to prove it.

With school sport funding moving towards targeted support and proof of impact, a partnership that already holds this data is a long way ahead of one that does not.

More than the sport

Jobs for the children who never get picked.

Every school has children who will never make a team. The quiet one who organises everybody, the one who is brilliant with a camera, the one who likes numbers. At the minute competition day has nothing for them.

Reporters

Write the match report that every school reads.

Photographers

Shoot the day, to their own school's rules.

Videographers

Film the highlights and the interviews.

Data analysts

Keep the scores, run the table, find the story.

They apply for the job in writing, which is a curriculum task with a real reason attached. Each role maps to statutory national curriculum objectives, and the enterprise strand, where children write to local businesses to sponsor their own competitions, is a head start on the financial and media literacy coming into primary citizenship.

What it costs.

A whole-season programme is priced on the size of the partnership and what you want in it, so we quote it rather than publish a number that would be wrong for everybody. Tell us how many schools you have and what you run now.
